The 80's Decade Top 5 Games!

1. 1981 – 23-22 win over Greenbrier. Hoy Grimm knocks home the winner from 43 yards out with 1:15 left on the clock to earn the Bucs their first ever District Title and first ever top 10 state ranking.
2. 1981 – 21-14 win over Livingston Academy in the Bucs first ever playoff game. The Bucs led at the half thanks to a 103 yard interception return by Guy Neal.
3. 1985 – 15-10 win over Mt. Juliet. The Bucs scored on a Duke Porter to Jeff Whittaker TD pass with one second left on the clock
4. 1986 – 7-6 win over HHS. JC Brinkley and company block a 42 yard FG attempt on the last play of the game to preserve the win.
5. 1980 – 21-20 win over White House. The Bucs got the ball on their own 32 yard line with 2:19 remaining in the contest and drove the length of the field to score. Rather than play for OT, the Bucs went for the 2 point conversion and the win. Most of the offensive starters were playing at White House a year earlier before BHS opened in the fall of 1980.
